CREDIT CARD CONTROVERSY--Mary Boyle, Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, points toward a parody of a credit card issued to Gov. George Voinovich, during a news conference, at the Ohio Statehouse, in Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998. Boyle denounced Voinovich's use of State dollars to promote credit cards issued by MBNA America, a company controlled by one of his largest contributors, Alfred Lerner. Boyle will face Voinovich for the senate seat to be vacated by the retiring John Glenn, D-Ohio.
