THE STRUGGLE CONTINUES--Liberian artist Aaron Brown views his work, in the Short Tower Gallery, at the Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center, in Columbus, Ohio, on Monday, Feb. 10, 1997. Brown's work is part of an exhibition titled "Tribute to African and African-American Artists," which runs through March 22. Brown's art reflects the turmoil in his home country, Liberia, which has been embroiled in a seven-year civil war. Although a shaky "cease-fire" is in effect, it is too dangerous for Brown to return to his homeland.
