POLITICAL HOT POTato--Dr. Charles Hickey, representing the Ohio State Medical Association, holds a current issue of Newsweek Magazine, as he testifies before an Ohio Senate Committee at the Ohio Statehouse, in Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1997. The O.S.M.A is in support of Senate Bill 2, which would repeal a provision of Ohio Law, which allows physicians to prescribe marijuana for medical use.

AGAINST SENATE BILL 2.--Daniel Flint, who is paraplegic due to a train accident, wheels away after testifying before a Ohio Senate Committee, at the Ohio Statehouse, in Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1997. Flint testified in opposition to Senate Bill 2 which would repeal a provision of Ohio Law permitting the medical use of marijuana.
