OHIOANS THINK WRONGFUL EXECUTIONS "LIKELY"--Sam Reese Sheppard holds a sign during a news conference the announced the results of an Ohio State University poll concerning the death penality, at the Ohio Statehouse, in Columbus, Ohio, on Friday, Nov. 19, 1999. When questioned as to the likelihood of an innocent person being wrongly convicted and executed, 68% of Ohioans reported that such an occurrence to be either somewhat or very likely.
